Madam Zhu has been engaged in the foreign trade and investment business in Shanghai for over 35 years. She has served as a factory director, the C-EO of a Shanghai-based import and export group, and has acted as the Vice President of the Shanghai Municipal Foreign Economic & Trade Commission. Her experience ranges from strategic planning and development, company restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, and technology and company start-ups to E-Commerce and international sales and marketing. During her 8 years as a senior local government official in the foreign trade & investment industry, Madam Zhu’s expertise in strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, and company restructuring helped move the city of Shanghai into a leading business position not only within China, but throughout Asia as a whole. Recognizing Madam Zhu’s contribution and knowledge in the industry, the Shanghai Government nominated her as the Vice Chairperson of the Shanghai Foreign Trade Association after her official retirement from Shanghai Municipal Foreign Economic & Trade Commission. Madam Zhu is a popular speaker, having appeared in many forums and conferences such as the China-Australia forum, China-British forum, and the International Business Leaders Advisory Council (IBLAC). She has also given an annual lecture on Asian Business at the Shanghai Graduate School of Management.
William has worked very closely with a number of high-ranking senior government officials throughout his professional career with PRC government entities. Prior to his founding of IBC, William was the Managing Director of the Information & Consultancy Dept. of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Shanghai, where he established contacts with senior government and trade delegates from various countries including: USA, Holla-nd, Thailand, South Korea, Britain, Japan and Australia. Having spent the last 20 years in China building trade and investment agreements, facilitating strong sino-foreign relationships, and providing professional advice for clients in many different industries, William has extensive experience with a proven record of success in helping his clients establish, operate, expand, and restructure businesses within China. As a trusted industrial advisor, William has worked with the Central and provincial Government on the lodgment of the 2010 Shanghai World Expo. As a result of his endeavors, William was appointed the Executive members of the Shanghai Association of Trade Services. His reports and proposals given to the central and provincial governments on behalf of clients have all been highly praised. In 2018, William was selected as a managing director at The Institute of Asia’s Future in Shanghai ( www. Iaf. site ). The Institute is committed to drive the harmonious development of Asian countries and pay contribute to China's construction of socialist modernization.
Mr. Zhang has served in the army and local government agencies, being placed in charge of communication and information analysis for over 40 years before 2013, the year he joined the IBC family. Mr. Zhang has the ability to lead people and forge strong interpersonal relationships based upon the principle of mutual trust, an open exchange of i-nformation, and an honest concern for others. He is an accomplished strategist in the regional area with a great understanding of how to balance multiple objectives in executing tactical plans in s-upport of a given strategy. Mr. Zhang is used to taking advantage of his strong communication skills and wide range of government relationships which usually assist him in sol-ving problems.
James Wei was born and raised in Shanghai until he went to Japan to study Law at the age of 18. Three years later, he went to the U.S. and first recie-ved his bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland. Besides James being known as a qualified software engineer, having a dozen years of experience in the IT industry, he also completed his MBA in finance at John Hopkins University. For the past decade, he has dedicated himself to equity research and analysis based on the principles of Warren Buffet's value investment approach, which is considered a beacon of the financial realm. He has been successfully managing a number of investment accounts with outstanding market-beating results for many years. Even in the midst of the worldwide financial crisis in 2009, his loss was considerably less than average. Over the years, James has been gradually expanding his circle of competence by conducting solid fundamental research and analysis in stock one at a time. So far, he has spent nearly 13 years to complete in-depth research and analysis on more than 450 public companies in the U.S., and has eventually developed his own effective and proven investment process which is focused on finding high quality companies at a cheaper price.
Mr. Lin acts as IBC's tax analyst, bringing his knowledge of tax laws from various nations to the company. Regardless of the client's base of operation-s, Mr. Lin is able to clearly and concisely describe the tax process and uses his expertise to help foreign companies comply with local tax laws. Mr. Lin's expertise also helps our clients save as much as possible during the filing of taxes and tax returns, ensuring that they have no excess losses.
Mr. Shao, prior to joining IBC, worked at the Administration of Industry and Commerce (AIC), Shanghai branch for over 35 years. As a result, he is an expert on all of the rules and guidelines necessary for business to be conducted in China. Mr. Shao works with foreign businesses so that they can comply with local laws, explaining the intricacies of work visas, corporation size limits, and so on.
